Thomas Linski

Chief Master Sergeant (Retired) Thomas M. Linski, of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on the 13th of April 2023. He was born on April 26, 1939, in Milwaukee, WI to Richard and Irene Linski. A true American patriot, Tom honorably served his country for over 25 years which included Vietnam, Korea, Germany, The Netherlands, Sicily, and various stateside assignments. Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone he met.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Lee Linski; his son, David Linski (Karen); daughter, Kathleen Scuderi; grandchildren Christopher Scuderi (Dara), Nicole Linski (Anthony), and Timothy “TJ” Scuderi; brother Charles Linski (Geraldine); brother in-laws Edward Turcotte (Margaret), Joseph Turcotte (Bunny), Tommy Turcotte (Fugi); sister in-law Sue Drew (Dan); nieces Carrie Sudmeier, Jamie Linski, Alice Banks, Donia Stribling, Dawn Linski; nephews Richard Linski, Darrel Linski, James Linski; great niece Deanna Sudmeier; step granddaughter Heather Crittenden and many other loved relatives and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Richard J. Linski and Irene A. (Rynka) Linski; brothers Richard J. Linski (Diane) and Theodore P. Linski; grandson Steven M. Linski; brother in-laws Richard Turcotte, Leslie Turcotte (Rosie), William Swanson.

Tom lived in Milledgeville, GA for 25 years before his recent move to Florida where he was dedicated to volunteering in his community. He supported many organizations, The American Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, Hurricane Katrina, Knights of Columbus, VFW, Moose Lodge, American Legion, Baldwin County Food Kitchen, Bass Masters, National Wildlife Turkey Federation, Wreaths Across America, RWB Running Club, Run for the Fallen, and the Patriot Guard Riders are a few of the organizations blessed by him. He loved all sports and was faithful supporter of the Wisconsin Badgers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Green Bay Packers. Tom never met a stranger and was the kindest, sweetest, most encouraging friend. His greatest achievement was running 5K races and has now completed his final race. 2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Young officiating at 10 A.M. Burial with full military honors will be at 2:30 P.M. in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Williams Funeral Home from 5 to 8 P.M.
