John's Entry for the Memory Book for the 2008 Reunion:
Married 45years, wife Judith, two children. Graduated Marquette Univ. Bus Ad. 1963, served in Wisc. National Guard. Worked for Sears 31 years, retiring in 1994 as Store General Manager, Livonia, Michigan, which was ,at the time, the largest store in Sears' chain. Still employed! 3rd career, as a Financial Analyst for Knight Industries [automotive supplier]. Enjoy golf [belong to Oak Pointe Country Club], snow skiing, hunting [both big and small game]. We have a second home in Vail, Colorado. Belong to the Rolls Royce owners Club. We own a 1987 Rolls Corniche Convertible. Went to Europe for the first time last year. Really enjoyed ourselves. Will go back [when our $ is stronger]. As I get older, I FINALLY begin to realize the great education and foundation I received at Don Bosco, and later Marquette Univ. I learned the qualities of hard work, accountability, and discipline. Most Important- being lucky enough to find the RIGHT SPOUSE.
