Joe's Entry for the Memory Book for the 2008 Reunion:
Family – married college sweetheart, have 4 children and 5 grandchildren
Education – after graduating from Don Bosco, earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Marquette University and earned a M.S. in Information Science from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA.
Work – spent 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Lt.Colonel; worked in various civilian jobs as a software engineer for another 20 years.
Achievements – was a Scoutmaster, Soccer coach and referee. Operations Officer in Southeast Asia. Base Commander in Alaska. Taught CCD; was a Lector at local parishes; ran in marathons.
Turning Points – attending Don Bosco High School; being a National Merit Scholarship finalist.
Travels – have traveled over most of the US, Europe and Asia.
Hobbies – Tai chi, Gardening, Greenhouse, Astronomy, Gourmet cooking.
High School Memory – Brother Donovan’s Physics class.
Cannot attend the 50th Reunion because I am a hospice-at-home patient for terminal cancer.
