Many fine hours touring the lakes and rivers near Milwaukee pursuing fish which usually eluded us..but the fun was in the hunt.

Dennis' Entry for the Memory Book at 2008 Reunion:

Joined the Wisconsin Air National Guard—the 128th Air Refueling Group stationed at Mitchell Field—in January 1964. Retired January 1996 with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.

Opened Pirate’s Cove Dive Shop in 1966. Sold the business in 1979. It is still operating today at 11th and Oklahoma in Milwaukee. I held a Civil Service job at Mitchell Field for 17 years after selling the business.

Married my wife Pat in 1972. She is a retired elementary school teacher. She taught in the Milwaukee Public School system for 32 years. In 1987 we bought property on Squirrel Lake in Minocqua, WI. Three years ago we tore down the old cottage and built a year round home. We have enjoyed cruising and traveling in the US, the Caribbean, and Europe.

Entered the Deaconate Program for The Archdiocese of Milwaukee in 1975. I was ordained a Deacon on June 11, 1978. I have been actively ministering to the people of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in West Allis, WI for thirty years. Baptismal Catechesis has been one of my special interests. I have baptized approximately 600 children. I am also the part time business manager for Immaculate Heart of Mary.
